TERMON TO HOST 1916 COMMEMORATION THIS WEEKEND

first_imgThe Termon Easter Rising Memorial Committee has announced an upcoming commemoration service in acknowledgement of all who died during that Easter Rising of 1916.This communal, non-denominational and non-political observance will take place in Termon on Saturday evening the 23rd of April at precisely 6pm.The ceremony, conducted by members of the Irish army, will open with a short procession by army personal, scholars and musicians travelling from the nearby N56 to the new graveyard.
